Lulu Hypermarket, one of the largest retail chains in the Middle East, has been the victim of a significant data breach.

IntelBroker has allegedly leaked the database belonging to LuLu Hypermarket.
"In July 2024, Lulu Hypermarket suffered a data breach that exposed the information of up to 196,000 individuals."

The compromised data includes sensitive information such as Lulu Hypermarket customers’ names, email addresses, phone numbers, and home addresses.

The source of the breach is yet to be confirmed, but initial investigations suggest that it may have originated from a vulnerability in the company’s online shopping platform.
The tweet from Dark Web Informer stated, “Lulu Hypermarket data breach: 196,000 users’ data exposed.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the source and extent of the breach.”
Lulu Hypermarket has issued an official statement acknowledging the breach and expressing regret over the incident.
The company has assured its customers that it is taking immediate steps to mitigate the breach’s impact and enhance its cybersecurity measures.
